What’s the key to truly effective Salt Lake City IT support?

It’s not just the services we offer, or the speed of our response times – the foundation of the support we deliver to Salt Lake City client is our staff. That’s why we’re proud to announce the addition of another experienced and knowledgeable IT professional to the Nexus IT Consultants team!

Salt Lake City IT Support

We are excited to announce the hire of Casey Lunceford to the Nexus IT Consultants team. Casey was brought on in January as a Senior Systems Engineer. He brings a strong IT background and extensive experience with him having worked at Smith’s Tix as their IT Director.

His responsibilities at Nexus IT will include network design, server design, project management, implementation & support.

We are excited to add Casey to our team as he adds a unique skill set and “can-do” attitudes to Nexus IT’s amazing team and culture.

How do we know Casey will make a great addition to the Nexus IT Consultants team?

In a nutshell? His experience in the IT field.

Prior to joining Nexus IT Consultants, Casey was the IT Director for Smith’s Tix. In that role, Casey was responsible for the administration of all of Smith’s Tix IT needs for their corporate office, data center and clients.

In his time as IT Director, Casey designed and built Smith Tix’s High Availability Data Center using Cisco Next Generation ASA Firewalls, F5 BIG-IP Load Balancers and a Cisco Nexus Switching Platform using vPC’s and Fabric Path’s into a large VMWARE environment as well as designing and implementing all of their venue supported HA Availability network infrastructure across the state of Utah.

It’s his experience in IT projects like these, along with industry-leading technologies like Cisco that makes us confident he’ll do great work for our Salt Lake City clients.

That’s not all – Casey also brings a refreshingly grounded and forward-thinking approach to IT services and support. This is summed up perfectly by his “words of wisdom”: keep it simple, stupid.

“I always have this principle in the back of my mind when it comes to many different aspects of my life,” says Casey. “Especially when it comes to technology implementations. Always keep future growth of your business in mind when it comes to your technology needs without overly complicating things.”

That’s not to mention his demeanor and attitude, both of which we believe will fit in well with our team here. It’s important not to forget that the social atmosphere of the business is an undoubtedly important contributing factor in the Nexus IT Consultants workplace culture.

How the staff members interact with one another, recognizing coworkers for their achievements and celebrating their successes, helps to build a motivating and encouraging environment for work. That’s something we take into account when considering who to add to our team.

We consider whether they will help their coworkers grow, hold them accountable to the quality of their work, contribute to the social setting we’re trying to cultivate, and as a whole, help improve our work culture.

Between Casey’s grounded outlook and his ambition to keep learning about his chosen field of work, we believe he’ll fit in just fine on the Nexus IT Consultants team.
